3D character art of Baki Hanma (範馬 刃牙) from Baki anime redesign as a modern 3D fighting game character. Wanted to practice anatomy, UDIM skin details, and hair card renders on a game ready character. Baki's artstyle is a bit exaggerated with bodybuilder muscles but anatomy and muscles structures are still accurate.
Sculpted the full body in Zbrush focus on topology from low-poly to high poly sculpt. Created UDIM texture sets and texture maps details in Substance Painter and Photoshop. Final raytracing renders, illustrations, backgrounds, lighting, and composition in Marmoset and Photoshop. Hopefully we can see a Baki 3D fighting game!
