3D character art of Rei Ayanami (綾波 レイ) from Neon Genesis Evangelion. Wanted to do a semi-realistic character take on Rei and do a full process of 2D concept to game-ready 3D character art. All character, costumes, props are 3D sculpted/modeled in ZBrush. Backgrounds, haircards, composition edits done with Maya and Photoshop. Texturing and Low-High poly baking done in Substance Painter and Photoshop. Final raytracing renders Marmoset Toolbag.
