My take of Ellie from The Last of Us Part II playing the acoustic guitar inspired by Ashley Johnson's cover of "Through the Valley". Really wanted to get a rougher stylized painting render using some textured brush strokes. Started to rough sketch in grey scale, added base colors, lighting, and final painting render. Lighting is mainly a overcast sunset using the light rays and composition of the background elements to help highlight the character.
